Mullens Public Relations is a boutique San Francisco-based public relations agency, specializing in the creation and execution of campaigns for fashion, design and lifestyle innovators.

Our approach of engaged, personalized service, coupled with valuable media contacts, powerful business connections and deep ties to key cultural arbiters makes Mullens Public Relations a force to be reckoned with.
Whether we’re launching products or bringing brands to life, we help our clients think beyond block & tackle PR to achieve visibility with the people who matter most. At Mullens Public Relations, sparking conversations, trends, and maybe a revolution or two, is all in a day’s work.

Mullens Public Relations was founded by Jessica Mullens Engelman in 2000 to enable industry giants and small companies with great ambitions to win valuable mindshare.

Jessica began her career at Ketchum, a top international PR firm and, over the course of her career, she has worked with an array of lifestyle brands — from international apparel companies, to major publishers, retailers, spas, and arts institutions. Jessica’s varied experience has provided her with acuity for identifying the unique selling proposition of a product, brand or organization and a facility for translating this into language that is meaningful to media and consumers.
Jessica is a passionate supporter of the Bay Area arts community, serving as immediate past president for San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s Contemporary Extension board and co-chair for The Contemporaries at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. She is a founding board member of the Commonwealth Club’s INFORUM board and The San Francisco Film Society’s Midnight Club, and guest lecturer in marketing for the San Francisco Academy of Art Fashion Program.
